AGENT DASHBOARD
This was one of my last projects at Side and it was definitely the most difficult. I had to design a homepage or dashboard for a hypothetical agent. This is a feature that Side wants to implement much later in the future, so this was an exploration project where I looked at different approaches.
PROBLEM
The agent doesn’t have one place within the app where they can quickly browse their goals, team performance, recent transactions, and more. In addition, the information they do receive (production goals, transactions, and more) is hard to understand and very number heavy.
SOLUTION
A dashboard where agents can easily find all of their information, recent transactions, and more. Also a place where they can easily understand their stats, therefore simplifying the data so it can be understood quickly.

PROCESS
DASHBOARD DESIGN PROCESS
At the start of the project, I was given a large amount of data that I had to reorganize and redesign so that an agent could scan their homepage and understand the information right away. Simplifying the data was the hardest aspect of this project, so I spent a lot of time doing a competitive analysis and finding inspiration from well-designed information graphics. Overall, I wanted this dashboard to be a place where each agent can see their goals, achievements, recent activity, team performance, transactions and more. My goal was to represent and show all of those things while also making the information clear and understandable.
GRAPHS & INFORMATION VISUALIZATION
I did a lot of research on different types and styles of graphs to make sure I was picking the right graph for the information I was given. For production pace and goals the line graph worked really well, and I was able to not only show the present but also the agents past pace and goals.
