Real estate agents have to work with a lot of large documents, so making sure they can print documents in multiple ways was an important feature. We learned through user testing that agents want the option to download PDFs as separate or combined files.

PROBLEM

The agent could only download an envelope (multiple documents) one way.

SOLUTION

I designed a feature that allowed them to download an envelope either as separate PDFs or combined PDFs. To make sure the agent understood exactly how many PDFs they were downloading, the number of PDFs is shown below each download option.

While creating this design, I had to keep in mind what already exists in other applications (ex. DocuSign) and how that might influence my design. I decided to create a clear and straightforward feature by adding a download options to the skittles. The agent is then able to select separate pdf or combined pdfs, giving them the option to save large documents two ways.

After designing the feature I created a spec to show how the user would use this new feature and when they would find it most useful.
